Behind the Bouquet

I’m so super excited to relaunch the blog today. We did a poll a few weeks back about bringing it back and had a resounding 97% YES from our followers so thank you guys for all your support.  Consider the blog back!

Whilst I won’t be writing every day like before (life has gotten crazier regrettably and I’m travelling more than ever), plus I’ve been filming, designing a lot of new products and have some fantastic collabs coming up so its been a little full on.  However I will be posting as much as I possibly can, from behind the scenes stuff, to new launches, news flashes and of course lots and lots of editorial content on how to create the most beautiful pad on the planet.I’m kicking off today’s post with what is for Gem and I our most exciting launch to date – our new SS19 botanical collection. Every season we try and push boundaries and this one nails it more than ever before.  We work a year in advance so always at the beginning of a season Gem and I sit down with a ton of ideas and concepts, and somehow come up with a collection that does things differently but always retains the allure of the wild, which is intrinsic in everything we do.  Then we board a plane and spend hours and hours sitting down with our factories (we now have 8 factories that produce each collection) for us making it as cohesive, tonal, foraged and wild as we possibly can.

This season you’ll find wild thistles, creeping sedums, flower branches, grasses, seedpods, edibles and textural stems taking central stage. You can view the brochure here and shop the collection here

We’ve just come back from launching them to the Scandinavia retail market and the response was overwhelming. In fact they are going as far as Japan, Australian and the US. I am so excited to be back blogging and showcasing our coolest collection of botanicals to date. Oh and another little sneak peak all the botanicals in the images have been photographed on a new paint finish (lime paint) we are working on that emulates plaster so you get this incredibly soft mottling. More of that in the next few weeks. Needless to say totally obsessed!
