Something that we have put time and money into is developing our website with online content in an engaging style. We have KPI meetings every Tuesday and drill into all aspects of the biz including the customer journey; how long people are on the site, referrals, organic traffic, where they navigate to, yadda yadda yadda.
Your website is your window that reaches a potential global audience. It’s active 24 hours a day, across time zones and language barriers and as a result it has to be looked after. SEO, ad words, marketing strategies, PPC – are you bored yet? It’s challenging creating a digital presence and lots of time, money and thought goes into developing beautifully visually compelling encounters.
Here’s a digital checklist for you – does your online platform have a combo of the 4 c’s: communication, commerce, content and community. If not, it should. Your website isn’t just about selling stuff, for me it's about capturing something exquisite. The joy of discovering new products that suddenly make the heart skip a beat - big shaggy hairy lamos, supersized mirrors and botanicals to die for - is what drives me forward.
