Some of our highstreet homewares stores really knock it out of the park, and one that I’m always interested to see is French Connection. Spring/Summer 2016 doesn’t disappoint. Sticking to what they do best, it’s a tightly curated little capsule collection, full of cool timeless shapes and softly tactile materials – think supple worn-in leather, canvas, hammered metals, natural woods and gently faded rugs.
I love how versatile these pieces are, they really would fit in anywhere: uptown, downtown, coast, country or city. You can see my Q&A with French Connection’s homeware designer Lorraine Brennan here. Oh and the collection was shot once again by the fabulous photographer and my good bud Graham Atkins-Hughes. Here’s a few of my favourite picks below. The collection is hitting shops and online next week, so here’s a sneak peek to get your shopping lists prepped.
