Seeing as we were talking walls this morning, I wanted to show you guys this incredible pad in Mexico City. This has been a major house crush of mine ever since I first spotted it in AD Spain. Designer Dirk-Jan Kinet has pulled every kind of incredible wall treatment in the book, and best of they’re all pretty easy to try out yourself! From incredible handpainted patterns to broad, messy brushstrokes there’s tons of paint tricks that anyone can have a go at, not to mention panelling, wallpaper, and some glossy tiles with total wow factor. They’re the perfect background to his amazing collection of art and objet.
