AA must read books for spring

In bed, in transit, on the road I always have a book in my bag. I’m nerdy about time keeping and would rather be super early than late, which otherwise translates to me grabbing a quick flat white, extra hot (on route) hours early and a dip into my latest tome! Now with long haul flights pencilled every month into my diary I get to binge read even more.

What I'm Reading Right Now

I am Murakami obsessed so I have two books on the go by him What I Talk About When I Talk About Running and Absolutely on Music both byHaruki Murakami.

By the Bedside

The Hotel on the Roof of the World: Five Years in Tibet. Touted as hysterical, witty with daily disasters a plenty I cannot wait to sink my teeth into this light read – hopefully putting my own biz into perspective.

The Magazine

I’m plant obsessed and this magazine, The Plant brings together photos, designers, illustrators, musicians, writers from all over the globe sharing their perceptions and experiences around plants.

For the Plane

Jo Malone, My Story

I love reading books about inspirational women who through sheer hard work and willpower transform retail. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into Jo’s book.

The Tea Planters Wife, by Dinah Jefferies -

entrancingly set in colonial era Ceylon, I am intrigued about this area of the world I am spending more and more time in. Gem and I are obsessed with Singapore and have on the back burner the desire to open a store there and the more we dip into this subregion of Asia the more obsessed we become.
