Hi everybody, today’s House Crush is a real treat! Welcome to the quirky, colourful creative world of Maren Ingeborg Gråblomst. Maren lives in a house in Norway which is anything but ordinary… for starters she’s painted it pink – very pink! – think Pantone colour of the year pink. Maren dubs her pad “Villa Betula”, and like me she’s made her home a living/working mash-up environment. She uses the outhouse as a base for her film production company, and has turned the lounge into a recording studio for her band. But this isn’t some sort of mega-millionaire mansion or soulless office space. Everything is so individual and vibrant with personality, all done on a shoestring budget. It’s makes it such a fun place to explore! Thanks so much Maren for sharing so many gorgeous pictures of your pad with us. If you want to see more of Maren’s creative adventures, head on over to Maren Ingeborg Gråblomst. Enjoy!
Welcome to my pad. It’s a 99-year old pink Victorian house that we call Villa Betula. I live and work with my husband in the Norwegian countryside, close to a small town called Hamar. Every other week my daughter lives with us, and we also have a small cat and a very big Boerboel dog!
My style in 5 words… exciting, vintage, with colour & love.
