What does someone who specialises in DIY for a living do with their own home? I came across Megan’s work on atmine, and was really intrigued to discover the DIY projects she’s done for other people as well as the ongoing revamp projects in her own Brooklyn home. Clever paint treatments, handmade fabric walls, building the coolest city garden from scratch… she’s certainly a busy lady! Megan takes us on a tour around her home, as well as sharing her DIY, styling, and photography tips and tricks along the way. If you want more of her makeovers and DIY tutorials, check out Megan Pflug and Megan’s own website: meganpflugdesigns.com. Enjoy!
Welcome to my pad. It’s a 3-storey row house in Brooklyn. We live on the garden and first floor levels, and rent out the top floor apartment. We’re renovating our space at the moment, and doing a lot of the work ourselves so it’s important to strike a balance between renovating and you know, seeing friends, having a life! I live with my husband and our two tabby cats: Kingsley and Stevie Nicks.
My style in 5 words… evolving, experimental, collected, contrast. And I think the word “eclectic” is over-used, but it does apply!
