I’m really excited to be able to show you the cover of my brand new book, ABIGAIL AHERN COLOUR. I’ve just got my first advance copy from the publishers, and I’m beyond excited about it!
About that cover – what do you guys think? I really pushed for no image on the front, just this really cool font. Rather than um and ah over which interiors image to go with this just felt perfect. It’s radical and a bit ballsy, and it’s a big risk but that’s how we roll so I totally love it. Hope you do too!
As for what’s inside the cover, well it’s a much bigger, fatter tome than my previous books. I’ve wanted to do something on colour forever, as you guys know I’m always saying that it’s the cheapest, quickest and most transformative thing you can do to any space. So it’s full of oodles of inspiration and advice to help you take the plunge and figure out your own perfect colour palette, plus loads of beautiful shots (by the wonderful Graham Atkins-Hughes of course) that I’ve curated from some of the coolest houses in the world.
COLOUR will be out on the 23rd April, and I’ll be sharing lots of other sneak peeks and snippets here on the blog over the next few weeks. You can preorder a copy signed by moi from the store now too. So pleased with the way it’s all turned out, and can’t wait for you to see it!
