How to Clean your Vinyl Flooring

  • Sweep or vacuum your vinyl rug to remove any loose dust or dirt

  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth or use a mop to remove stubborn dirt or spills.

  • Most floor cleaners can be used for your vinyl but it is recommended to carry out a test patch first if you are unsure.

  • Do not use any abrasive cleaners or bleach as they will scratch and damage your rug. 

Do's and Dont's of Cleaning Vinyl Flooring

  • Do not pull heavy furniture across your rug.

  • When your mat is not in use, ensure that it is stored flat or rolled. 

  • Wipe up spills as soon as they occur to prevent damage or staining. 

  • Use furniture pads on table legs or other heavy furniture placed on top of your rug to prevent dents or scuffs.

  • Do not allow your rug to get excessively wet as the surface will be slippery..

  • Your vinyl rug is not designed to be kept outdoors ensure it is stored inside when not in use to prevent weather damage and fading.
