3 reasons to go dark

As you know, I am obsessed with dark hues. To me, dark spaces are the equivalent to the little black dress except, a little more mischievous. If you are in a conundrum about converting to the dark side, I’ve got three reasons to help convince you to cross over to my side!

1. DARK COLOURS ADD INSTANT DRAMA

In my opinion, interiors that are dark are way more intoxicating, mesmerising and beautiful than those that are light, and a little beige. Once you’ve converted, I think it’s almost impossible to have some rooms pale and some rooms dark. Dark interiors just look and feel more interesting, and wrap you up in sophistication.

2. THEY’RE GREAT FOIL

Dark colours naturally draw attention in a space and makes everything feel way more cooler and grander than it really is.

3. SUPER CALMING

Many people worry that dark colours may appear depressing. I happen to think they are calming, super-relaxing and make you feel snuggled and cocooned.

Need any more convincing? Nope, I thought not.
