London Pad

Hi everyone, a great House Crush to show you today. This pad, belonging to Sue Miller, was one of the London homes I shot for COLOUR. It’s a bit boho, a bit edgy industrial, and 100% cool.

Talking colour first (of course, the clue’s in the name!) there are so many bold colour choices to get your inspiration firing here. How about vivid scarlet, or vibrant teal and orange? Might sound unusual but I love blue and orange actually, I think it’s one of those unexpected colour combos that really knocks it out of the park. Check out Sue’s hallway – see what I mean?

The other thing that got me so excited visiting this pad is all the amazing wall and floor treatments. Everything from exposed brick, slate walls and industrial style cement panels, to blackboard walls and vinyl sleeves inspired floor tiles in the pool room. The flooring is a custom project that Sue created herself, she’s a real creative whiz. Texture and layers abound too with a treat everywhere you look, I’m thinking shaggy rugs, hanging rattan chairs, giant leafy houseplants, coloured glass, fun neon touches, and I even spy one of our own rad rasta cushions.

So have a good snoop around through the slideshow. Some of the snaps are unseen and never made it into the final book – I really love all of them, but sometimes things are lost in the edit! And if you like Sue’s home, you can see more in the book.
