Monthly Musings...
November
Welcome to November's monthly musings. Here in the UK, the clocks have gone back and it feels like it's officially cosy season and dare we mention the other C word (Christmas). Here at AA HQ we're getting quite excited about super chic festive decor and the possibility of getting our homes ready for guests.
November...
I’m writing this super early (one of the advantages or disadvantages however you want to look at it of jetlag). Not long back from a big trip East encompassing India and China where we were working on collections for AW25. The trouble with working so far ahead of time is that I want to show you everything now and want everything to be in now, but as they say patience is a virtue. We’ve pushed boundaries with these collections, I don’t think we have ever been so excited, I will share some sneak peeks as the samples start arriving.
With the clocks going back festivities seem to be on everyone’s mind. Ocado emailing me to place my Christmas order (any one done that yet)? Christmas party invites coming through, it's never to early to get ahead for the holiday season it seems. This year at AA we’ve got you covered, from the front door to the tree, our stylish decs up the style ratings no end. I tend to keep things pretty simple, take a look below for some of my Christmas touches at home that I have on repeat. Oh and do take a quick peek at our Winter brochure, it's full of inspiring homeware, one of my fave recipes and a seasonal playlist too.
On a personal note we are having a bit of an overall here at home, way overdue. Design classes and the frantic pace of the biz meant that this little revamp has been on the back burner for way too long. The primary bedroom is getting an overhaul, I am taking over a spare room to turn into a closet, and another guest bedroom is getting a bit of love and attention. I’ve mood boarded everything and am super excited but a little scared as it’s a bit rad. I will keep you updated on stories and the grid of course as we work through it all.
Happy November.

Our best-selling Samai and Bozeman sculptures have made a return but in a cool cream colour way, they effortlessly uplift any surface, adding a huge dollop of personality and an artsy vibe.
My Christmas Home
I keep things super simple and elegant at home, plopping some of our fabulous drooping faux trees on stools, kitchen islands and guest rooms, adding some beautiful t-lights a stunning wreaths not forgetting of course fairy lights to bring a shimmer to everything, For me I layer in festive touches that very much mirror my aesthetic where texture is key and the palette follows the rhythms of the season.
Take a peek at our new winter brochure for some cosy home inspo, a tasty recipe as well as a seasonal playlist.
Fashion Fix
When it comes to fashion I’ve found the coolest site called AndBloom. Dee the founder has a lovely relaxed style about her, including the shaggiest coats and jumpers two of which I have bought already. I pair them with big boots and a fab pair of pants and you’re all set for rocking a casual cool downtown vibe. Timeless, confident pieces that can be worn at every age and every stage. Perfect.
