Bedrooms, more than any other room in our house, should be our sanctuary, a private retreat. I want mine to feel indulgent, relaxing, soothing and utterly cocooning. For me personally that’s deep calming hues, uber tactile textures and snuggly bed linen! With that in mind these are my 15 favourite bedrooms that have caught my eye for 2015.
Some of them I was lucky enough to see in person, while I was shooting for my book COLOUR. Others are the work of talented interior designers or stylists I follow – Kelly Wearstler, Lotta Agaton, Marie-Laure Helmkampf and many more. And finally there’s a few gems I stumbled upon via Pinterest or magazines. I need some major bedroom shake ups in 2016, as I’m planning to convert the top floor of the house into a few guest bedroom suites (unless I just cave in and make a laundry room up there instead!). These bedrooms are all super inspiring, so there’s plenty here to get the creative juices flowing
