Every room needs a refresh, even in the smallest of ways. It doesn’t need to break the bank and the thing I love about the change of seasons is that it gives us the perfect opportunity to shake things up a bit.
ADD MORE LIGHTING
My absolute go to thing to do is add more lighting. As we lose light and move into a colder time, I am obsessed with cosying up my pad with lighting. It’s actually the most impactful thing you can do without straining your wallet.
WINTERY FAUXS
Being faux obsessed, I always decorate the house this time of year with our most textural wintery stems like pine branches, magnolia branches just in bud, our super textural banksia, wintery white mimosa, feather foliage like saltbush and my biggest obsession - our pampas grass.
ADD MIRRORS
Finally, add mirrors. Mirrors expand horizons, add depth and bounce the light around. Perfect at this time of year.
