March Monthly Musings

Welcome to the second edition of monthly musings, a journal we will be updating for each month and throughout the year to fill you in on all our latest goings on here at AA HQ. March saw the release of our exciting Spring products launch with a lookbook to inspire and more travel on the horizon.

March....

It’s been another exciting full on month at AA kicking off with the debut of our Spring Collection. From table lamps that echo the sun baked palettes of the desert to our long awaited collection of faux plants, new botanicals, furniture and accessories.

I’ve managed to squeeze in some Design Classes and they have just all gone back online. They all sold out last year and have been selling like hot cakes ever since we put them up, so if you fancy hanging out in my pad for the day, learning how to create a home you ‘ll never want to leave make sure you book up now, there are just a few spaces left.

I’m super excited to be speaking at an incredible event, Décor & Design in July in Melbourne, I so love Australia. I’m also whizzing to China and the States so its pretty full on.

I do hope you guys love the new collection as much as I do. Take a peek at our beautiful new Lookbook highlighting some of our most swoon worthy pieces

Newness at AA

I'm super proud of our new Spring collections that have just dropped. From new faux plants that add a zing of greenery, to lighting that takes your pad to new levels of illumination. We've also introduced some new side tables (I have waited so long to introduce you to these stylish little guys), they are so versatile and can not only be used inside from your sofa side to your bedside but outside too. I'm a big advocate of making your outside space just as cool as your inside and these super sidekicks will up your al fresco lounging and summer gatherings to new heights.

Cooking

When I was growing up, every weekend on a Sunday I would often make supper for the family (rather basic in those days) I have to say. These days Sundays are spent cooking on the BGE (Big Green Egg), batching up juices and smoothies, making Madeleine Shaw’s cashew bread and whizzing up her Coconut & Corn Soup with Maple Pumpkin Seeds. Relaxed chilled out days at home in these warmer months is something I so cherish.

Wardrobe Wishlist

Even though I am in full on excited spring mode, check out Missoni's AW24 collection, I need those super woolly tanks and scarves in my life! I'm also coveting some slouchy shimmery jeans, and can you ever have too many statement boots? My cat jumper also had quite a bit of love over on insta (not sure Monkey & Wertz agreed), all items linked below.

Downtime

To decompress I love to spend time in the garden. With the start of Spring and longer warmer days, I'm spending more time outside and seeing how things are shooting up gives me so much joy.

Did you catch Abi's Insta Live with Garden Designer, Lucy Willcox?

What I'm Reading

Just ordered this thriller by Ashley Elston, apparently twisty fast paced and heart pounding. I need a bit of light relief from the Year of the Locust.

What I'm Watching

F1: Drive to survive on Netflix. It's fast paced on and off the track and I'm hooked.

Spring Sounds

Whether you're pottering at home or hosting a laid back gathering, I've put together some of my favourite sultry spring sounds into a laid back playlist.

Happy Springtime everyone.
