Abi's Favourite Places To Stay Around The World

Abi's rounded up some of her favourite hotels from around the world. From Paris, to New York and the UK, soak up the global inspiration and get ready to cook your next flight!

❝The thing I love most about travel is how it invites connection and fires up creative energy, stepping away from the desk literally expands my horizons.

Paris: The Hoxton Hotel.

Blending 18-century grandeur with a vibrant laid back atmosphere, it offers a very relaxed and calming vibe. With its buzzy courtyard it brings that Shoreditch style Hoxton cool to Paris.

LA: The Proper Hotel, Santa Monica.

Abi loves this hotel, especially the rooftop terrace and its striking contemporary interiors designed by Kelly Wearstler. It's located just a short stroll from the beach. Take their bikes along the ocean and cycle to Abbot Kinney (my favourite street in LA ) - lovely little shops and restaurants including the Butcher's Daughter (which by the way is 100% veggie)!

New York: The Hotel Chelsea & The Beekman Hotel.

The Hotel Chelsea - not only does it have the best restaurant,Teruko, it perfectly balances bohemian nostalgia with modern luxury and not just that I am obsessed with its restaurant and bar.

The Beekman Hotel - with the loveliest bar (The Bar Room) especially in the cooler months.

Italy: The Reschio Hotel

On the borders of Umbria and Tuscany a 1000 year old castle. The design is beyond beautiful, the 3,700 acre estate has re-wilded forests, a swimming pool, incredible food and beautiful rooms. The views from any room or vista here are incredible.

France: Lily of the Valley Hotel

In La Croix-Valmer, a 20 min drive from Saint Tropez. Not just a hotel but a premier wellness retreat, with nutrition focused dining, its also surrounded and protected by nature reserves. Beyond beautiful, Abi tries to visit at least once a year.

❝When I get to stay in hotels around the world, it deepens my appreciation for thoughtful design, broadens my palette, inspires me to do better and stirs up all sorts of ideas!❞

Hong Kong: The Kerry Hotel

With its infinity pool and sweeping Victoria Harbour views over the Hong Kong skyline. Travel is so easy its literally a 5 minute Fortune Ferry ride to central. We love the Starrstreet Precinct in Wan Chai and you can walk from the Ferry. It's a charming historic neighbourhood with design led concept stores and acclaimed small restaurants.

UK: Gara Rock Hotel in Devon

Set on a dramatic clifftop with boutique aesthetics and an off the grid feel it delivers a uniquely rugged yet luxurious escape from everyday life not to mention the breathtaking coastal viewsl. You don't need to use the car, the clifftop walks are stunning passing by secluded coves. We often walk the clifftop trails to East Portlemouth and get the passenger ferry across to Salcombe.
