Being one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, there are lots of amazing places to eat in London, here are just a few of Abi's current fave places. From seasonal ferments to wood fired plates of heaven to the delights of the eastern Mediterranean. If you get the chance to visit any of them, you must. They come highly recommended.

Berber & Q - London

Little Duck Picklery
Just a short walk from home and one of my favourite culinary haunts. With a seasonal menu that changes on a monthly basis there's always something new to try, from the most delicious pickles and ferments to delectable desserts - pear sorbet anyone?
68 Dalston Lane London E8 3AH

Gordon's Wine Bar
Imagine a weekend browse around Borough Market followed by a chilly winter walk along the Southbank and then a cosy candlelit glass of wine in the atmospheric vaults of Gordons. Perfect. It's a real family affair and thought to be the oldest wine bar in London. I just love whiling away the hours drinking the most delicious vino.

I've spoken about Josh Katz before and it's no secret that I really am quite the fan of his food. Cooking over live fire, it's big on flavour with an Eastern Mediterranean slant. Tuck yourself away in one of the intimate booths or share a huge long table for a relaxed dining experience that makes you want to while away the hours eating yummy food and soaking up the warm and inviting ambience. His cookbooks are always a goto for me too. Obsessed!
Arch 338 Acton Mews London E8 4EA

Brat x Climpsons
Located in my neck of the woods, just a short evening walk away, Graham and I love to wander down after a busy day and sit outside in the covered courtyard. A wood fired oven and an open kitchen gives it a real laid back vibe and the food is utterly delicious. Succulent meats, grilled or charred veggies, out of this world salads and freshly made breads, it's a real slice of heaven in East London. Although they take bookings they always have space for walk-ins too, ideal for last minute plans when I can't muster the energy to cook at home.
