How to create a home library

I love the library in my house; it’s so snugged up my pad. You don’t need wall-to-wall bookcases housing tons of tomes, like I have though. Half my shelves are taken up with work or inspirational tomes as I constantly need to reference tons of stuff. Having said that, little piles of books on coffee tables, on the odd shelf turns rooms around. We might be living in a digital age but I happen to think there is nothing nicer than having piles of books all over the place. Here’s some cool ways to curate your book.

1. FLIP OUT

Flip the covers to face outward. I love this idea, it turns them into a new kind of gallery wall, super-cool!

2. PILE UP

Pile horizontally, pile vertically plop postcards on top – make them as three-dimensional as you possibly can, it up’s the interest.

3. ACCESSORISE. ACCESSORISE. ACCESSORISE.

Accessorise with objects. Accessories helps break up spines so it feels far more curated that way!
