FEATURE WALLS ARE A-OK
Feature walls get a bad rap in this industry and quite a few designers are snooty about them. I say do as you please if you want a feature wall go for it – the big trick is making sure you link the colour palette of the texture to the rest of the space. You don’t want it to stick out on it’s own like a sore thumb. You can paint it, clad it or go with wallpapers. In my pad I’ve had features walls of exposed brick, bookcase wallpaper and reclaimed wood at one point or another. There a zillion amazing wall treatments you can use, the possibilities are endless.
