NOTES FROM THE STUDIO

Lighting

Abi sees lighting as one of the most powerful ways to shape atmosphere – and always believes you need more of it than you think. Layering different sources adds warmths, depth and drama to a room.

Why It Works

Table lamps bring atmosphere, texture and a sense of intimacy to a room. They sculpt the space with light, creating a calmer, more considered home.

Layer Light
Combine different light sources to create depth and atmosphere

Use at eye level
Position at a lower level to create a softer, more flattering glow.

Warm the corners
A table lamp instantly brings life to darker corners and makes a room feel more inviting.
