My mind has been wondering to travelling again. I know it’s because Gemma and I are busy planning our autumn/winter17 season, and I always draw from my travel for inspiration. This got me thinking about part of the world I love, and this time it’s Stockholm.
I remembered this beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet leafy street, called Ett Hem. It’s owner Jeanette Mix and interior designer Ilse Crawford worked with great sensitivity and care to preserve its personal quality.
Despite being only 4 years old, the hotel feels like it has been there forever. The original features have been kept and mixed with the contemporary comforts we have today. The hotel seems to twist and move to the seasons, filling with light and freshness in the summer and roaring fireplaces and sheepskins in the colder months. This place effortlessly has been pulled together to offer old fashioned glam with a relax boho vibe – my kind of place!
